| I was commissioned by the Hong Kong film company "Making Film
Productions" to produce two wall plaques of their company logo. I also
was asked to design a background for the logo to sit on. They wanted the
final plaques to look like ancient bronze artifacts. This is the
process from start to finish................. |
So, with the sculpture approved by the client in Hong Kong it was now time to mould it & cast it in resin with bronze filler.............
With the sculpture reproduced in resin it was then waxed & buffed to start bringing out the bronze of the filler powder......
Verdigris & aging effects were slowly added..........
And then the whole thing was given good battering to lose all the sharp edges & add more weathering, texturing & aging to make it look truly ancient....
And obviously the whole process was done twice as they wanted two....
